Sara fonde la pratica materica della modellazione dell'argilla con l'importanza della presenza viva in contesti generativi.
Protagonista nel suo lavoro è il corpo, con il suo respiro vitale, i suoi equilibri precari, la sua essenzialità in direzione dell'evoluzione, in reazione a e in connessione con l'ambiente.
In ogni progetto esso è infatti presente, svelato ogni volta in modo diverso.
Durante i laboratori di Argilla Espressiva, i partecipanti sono incoraggiati ad entrare in contatto tramite la terra con i sensi, le proprie radici, il rito, il sogno, per la liberazione corporea di quelle energie ed espressività uniche che la società attuale rischia di soffocare. Ogni partecipante ha la possibilità di realizzare un'opera originale in cui e con cui poter essere riconosciuto, come creatore.
Nel ruolo di scenografa, il suo obbiettivo è quello di ricercare, poi elevare al massimo, il potenziale visivo del senso del testo, offrendo uno spazio generativo che favorisca la catarsi, dove spazio scenico e performer possano entrare in dialogo evolvendosi l’un l’altro nello spazio senza tempo del Teatro.
Sara organizza e cura mostre d’arte visiva in luoghi destinati alla produzione teatrale o in contesti legati alla collettività e luoghi di aggregazione.

Sara è artista visiva, scenografa e performer.

Nasce a Como nel 1993. Si forma nel settore del tessile e della moda; da neodiplomata intraprende un viaggio a Londra dove fa esperienza nel settore e si interessa alle arti visive, alla scenografia e al mondo del teatro.
Dopo un breve periodo da assistente creativo nell'a.p.s Casa de Arte, fondata dalla madre Elena Parravicini e il padre Paolo Ceruti, parte per l'Olanda e si iscrive al bachelor in Belle Arti presso l'Accademia Reale d'Arte dell'Aia (KABK), formazione che le permette di realizzare progetti interdisciplinari e collaborazioni esterne all'ambito accademico. È qui che impara la lavorazione della ceramica, a mano e al tornio. Partecipa inoltre a seminari di specializzazione sulle diverse forme di espressione teatro-danza, pratica che studia fin da bambina e che influenza tutte le sue scelte artistiche.
Al termine degli studi torna in Italia e si trasferisce in Umbria, terra che porta parte delle sue origini, dove consegue a pieni voti cum laude il diploma magistrale in Scenografia.
Vive e lavora a Passignano sul Trasimeno (Perugia), dove organizza e tiene laboratori d'arte per bambini, ragazzi e adulti, è scenografa e performer per la Compagnia Teatrale Il Gorro, realizza progetti multidisciplinari con artisti internazionali e locali e continua ad assistere Elena Parravicini come socio consigliere e nella direzione artistica dei progetti dell'a.p.s Casa de Arte.

Sara is visual artist, scenographer and performer.
She was born in Como, Italy, in 1993. She trained in the field of textile and fashion; as she graduates, she embarks on a trip to London where she gains experience in the field and grows interest for the visual arts, scenography and performance art in general with a soft spot for theater.
After a short period as creative assistant in the association founded by her mother Elena Parravicini and her father Paolo Ceruti, she moves to Holland and enrolls in the bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (KABK), which allows her to work on interdisciplinary projects locally as well as internationally. Here she learns how to work with ceramics, by hand and on the throwing wheel. She also takes part in diverse modern and contemporary dance and theater seminars, which she has been studying since she was a child, influencing all her artistic choices.
At the end of her studies she returns to Italy and moves to Umbria, a region that bears part of her family roots, where she achieves her master's degree in scenography cum laude.
She lives and works in Passignano sul Trasimeno (Perugia), she organizes and holds art workshops for kids and adults, she develops scenic sets and costume designs for the local theater Company Il Gorro, she carries out multidisciplinary projects in collaboration with international and local artists and continues to assist Elena Parravicini curating the projects of Casa de Arte a.p.s.

Sara mingles her matterly practice of clay modeling with the importance of live presences into generative contexts. The body with its life breath, on/off balance, essentiality in the direction of evolution, reaction to and connection with the surrounding, is the main character in her work. It is in fact present in every project, revealed each time in a different way.

During her FreeClayy workshops, the participants are encouraged to enter, through clay, the ancient connection with Earth, Land, Roots, Rituals, Dreams for the bodily liberation of those unique energies and expressions that society today is threatening. Everyone has the chance to work on an original piece to be recognized in and with, as a creator.
As a scenographer she thrives for researching and then elevating to the maximum the visual potential of the essence of the given text, with providing a generative space that facilitates the catharsis, a space that puts itself in deep conversation with the performer, allowing the two to evolve together in the timeless space of Theater.

Sara organizes and curates visual art exhibitions in locations dedicated to theater production or spaces for community.
